The Anglo-German Law Society was founded in 2002 for everyone with an interest in Anglo-German legal issues. We actively promote a dialogue between the Common Law and the Civil Law systems in Europe.
We organise events in cooperation with a variety of organisations across in Germany and the UK. Together with our partners we offer our members the opportunity to meet future employers, to gain practical work experience and to learn about job perspectives in an international legal setting.
Furthermore, we support our members throughout their studies and introduce them to further educational programmes. In cooperation with our partners we offer learning resources in both legal systems for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The Society also publishes the Anglo-German Law Journal which provides a platform for jurists from across Europe to share their views on European and Anglo-German legal issues.
